Nathan is an abstract artist who lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Insatiably curious since birth, he has always loved building things. He spent his first two professional decades building a company that he sold at the end of 2020, and has spent the time since then reigniting his passion for art. His use of repurposed materials and destructive practices explores themes of addiction, recovery, grief, and growth.

As the artist explains, “I believe that our scars can become our superpowers, with tremendous potential for healing and growth. I want my work to be an invitation to the viewer to assume the role of the investigator—to lean into curiosity and explore their own possibilities. What else might be worth reconsidering or examining? What is the relationship between the seen and the unseen, between the known and unknown? What’s worth carrying forward, and what’s best left behind?”
