Lissa M. Kivisto - Founder
After earning her undergraduate degree from The University of Kansas, Lissa was honored to attend Sotheby's Institute of Art London—where she was certified in Art + Business and Contemporary Art. Spending time in London, immersed in Sotheby's curriculum, while also taking advantage of visiting Europe's vast art collections, is a time she credits for taking her passion + appreciation of all things creative to a new level.
ART HOUSE
Prior to the launch of Giraffe & Elephant, Lissa served as Owner + Director of Gallery KH in the River North Gallery District of Chicago. During this formative time in her career, Lissa had the pleasure of developing relationships with many renowned artists while extending her knowledge + expertise.
She previously served as Assistant Art Director of Mary Bell Galleries in Chicago, where she learned the ins + outs of running a gallery from a respected veteran, giving her the foundation + tools needed to build her own successful gallery.
